Hire a Professional — Client Terms
Terms for scopes, milestones, revisions, delivery, ownership, and project disputes.
Applies to: Customers engaging human professionals
Service model and AI intake
Pyramad may provide access to developers, designers, engineers, consultants, project managers, agencies, or other specialists. Each Project Agreement will identify Pyramad’s role for that engagement. AI may collect requirements and draft scope, budget, timing, or technical plans, but those materials are preliminary until included in an accepted Project Agreement.
Project Agreement
Each paid engagement may have a statement of work, order, proposal, or milestone schedule identifying deliverables, exclusions, price, payment, dependencies, client responsibilities, revision limits, estimated timing, acceptance criteria, ownership, support, and project-specific warranties. Express project-specific terms control over conflicting general terms for that project.
Cooperation, scope, and changes
You must timely provide decisions, content, credentials, approvals, test data, legal requirements, and access. Delays can extend schedules and create rescheduling charges. Work outside scope requires an accepted Change Order covering price, timing, and assumptions. Included revisions do not mean unlimited redesign or a new product direction.
Timelines and acceptance
Unless guaranteed in writing, dates are good-faith estimates. The Project Agreement may set a review period. You must test deliverables and identify material deviations during that period. Approval, production deployment, or failure to report a material nonconformity may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by law; latent defects and non-waivable rights remain.
Ownership and third-party materials
Unless the Project Agreement says otherwise, transferable rights in final custom deliverables transfer after full payment. Pyramad, professionals, and third parties keep pre-existing tools, frameworks, templates, reusable components, open-source software, and general know-how. Third-party materials remain governed by their licenses.
Security, outcomes, cancellation, and disputes
Professional services do not automatically include penetration testing, legal or privacy review, accessibility certification, or regulated-compliance assurance unless specifically scoped. Revenue, conversion, rankings, adoption, approval, security, and other business outcomes are not guaranteed. Cancellation and refunds follow the Payment Policy and Project Agreement. Project disputes should first be submitted with the scope, deliverable, communications, and requested remedy.
