A calm launch-week checklist

Everything worth checking in the seven days before you share a new site with the world.

Seven days out: content

Read every page aloud. Spoken sentences reveal clumsy phrasing, missing steps and claims you cannot support. Replace any placeholder text, image or number with the real thing.

Confirm the facts that cost you most when wrong: prices, dates, addresses, phone numbers and legal names.

Three days out: behaviour

Click every button and link on a phone and a laptop. Submit each form and make sure the message arrives where you expect. Ask a friend who has never seen the site to complete the main action while you watch silently.

Launch day: share with intent

Publish, open the public address in a private window and check it once more. Then share it with a short note explaining what it is and what you hope people will do. Write down the first questions people ask—they are your next edits.
