Pyramad guide

Custom domains

A custom domain gives your project a memorable address such as yourbusiness.com. You keep ownership of the domain at your registrar; Pyramad simply serves the site.

7 minutes

1

Publish first

Your project needs a published version before a domain can show it. Publish once, then open the domain settings.

2

Add the DNS records

Pyramad shows the exact records to add at your registrar, such as Namecheap or GoDaddy. Copy them precisely and remove any conflicting records for the same name.

3

Wait for verification

DNS changes can take from a few minutes to 48 hours to spread. Once verified, a secure certificate is issued automatically.

4

Choose a primary address

Decide whether visitors should land on the root domain or the www version. The other address redirects to it.
